At 73 years of age, it would take a thick book to offer up a proper bio, so let it suffice to say the following.

I was born in the rural South and fortunate enough to have been raised by hard working, giving and loving parents. We were poor by many standards and rich in others. There were many joyful times, like vacations and the time when all 5 family members sang in a small country church choir. There were also sad and painful times, like when loved ones died and struggling with the miserable realities of living with an alcoholic father. I thank God for his deliverance from the addicting grip of evil firewater, in the last 20 years or so of his life. (Through it all, with God's help, we loved him to the end!). The highlight of my existence here on earth is and always has been my personal relationship with Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit. That relationship began in 1963 just before the day of my baptism on the 15th day of November; I was just 12 years old. In my hours of weakness and temptation, The Holy Spirit comes to me, reminding and leading me back to the right and narrow path to eternal life in Heaven. Although I have often sinned, I am steeped in the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ. I am daily repentent for my wrongs and I rejoice in the forgiveness, strength and wisdom that come only from above. I choose to follow my Savior with all that I am capable of and I pray that my God given talent to write songs will lead many souls to the free gift of Salvation.
